A great way for you to take action and create momentum for conservative values is to write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper in support of our issues. Also, a personal letter from you supporting local or national Republican candidates can help us earn the backing of your neighbors and the opinion leaders in your community.

Here are some tips and talking points for your letter:

  1. Be brief, clear, and to the point. Editors often limit letters to 250 words or less.
  2. Be passionate about the issues and candidates you care about
  3. Be courteous; rudeness and sarcasm don't come across well
  4. Be sure to provide contact information; anonymous letters are rarely printed
  5. Always include your daytime phone number, as papers may call you to verify that you have written the letter.
